The Content Keys

For the format in which specific content is listed, the reviewers take note of sexual and vulgar content by recording numbers that correspond to the explanatory keys below. Though I regret that this causes readers some inconvenience when trying to understand the reviews, the purpose of this is to provide clarity while respecting the feelings of particularly conservative and sensitive readers.

Caution:  I do provide several examples of vulgar language below.

SEXUALITY KEY:
1—non-sexual content, such as light or passionate kissing, hugging, hand-holding, discussion of feelings, discussion of physical development
2—foreplay, disrobing, non-graphic discussion of sex or sexual desires, non-graphic intercourse, etc.
3—graphic intercourse, graphic non-coital sex, graphic discussions of either one
4—extramarital affairs, minor/adult romance, and premarital pregnancies
5—mild homosexual references and relationships (either positive or negative)
6—moderate to graphic homosexual relationships (either positive or negative)
7—discussion of or relationships involving other alternative lifestyles, such as transgender

VULGARITIES KEY:
1—mild, commonly acceptable (crap, sucked,  hell, d--, G--, bitch)

2—blatant disrespect towards adults
3—non-sexual bodily functions and body parts (such as s--, piss, a--h--)
4—sexual and commonly offensive words/innuendos (such as f-, giving the finger, dirty jokes, etc.)
5—blatant irreverence towards any religion, other than vulgar words
6—racial and other taboo slurs (such as n--, etc.)
7—blasphemy/profane religious words, other than "God"
